Talia Baker, MD, is a nationally-recognized leader in living donor liver transplantation and the treatment of liver diseases, including hepatobiliary malignancies.
Dr. Baker is an active researcher. Her scholarly work focuses on liver transplant related topics, such as downstaging and optimizing complex hepatobiliary tumors to respectability and transplant and the ethical implications of using social media for organ donation opportunities. Dr Baker is also recognized as a thought leader in the emerging field of Liver Transplant Oncology and founded and leads the Transplant Oncology Task for the American Society of Transplant Surgeons.
