Ana possesses extensive expertise in donation and transplantation, having held significant roles in both the public and private sectors. She serves as a Transplant Consultant at the Portuguese Institute for Blood and Transplantation and as a Medical Consultant for Jam Hub Solutions/TransplantHub in Lisbon. Previously, Ana was the National Transplant Coordinator from 2013 to 2019 and has held various leadership positions at Hospital Garcia de Orta. Her international contributions include speaking at the 4th China-International Organ Donation Conference and participating in key European organ transplantation committees.

Additionally, she has been involved in several projects aimed at enhancing organ donation quality and safety. Ana’s commitment to education is evident through her faculty roles in international training courses.
