Prof. Dieter Broering, a prominent figure in organ transplantation, currently leads as the Executive Director of the Organ Transplant Centre of Excellence at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre and as a Professor of Surgery at Alfaisal University in Riyadh. With a strong academic background including PhD, his contributions since 2010 have provided significant advancements in robotic transplant surgery, positioning Saudi Arabia at the forefront of this field. Prof. Broering has pioneered key innovations in split liver transplantation and robotic transplant surgery, contributing to over 1,600 robotic procedures and authoring more than 300 peer-reviewed publications. His leadership has not only advanced global standards in transplantation but also significantly enhanced patient outcomes and surgical techniques worldwide.
